Okay, so you have this house. Maybe you just bought it, maybe you’ve been living there for years, but in any case, you walk around your house and think “this could be better.”
So what do you do next?
Damn, those people up there are happy! Someone just said the funniest thing AND there are presents?! I want to be them.
But, you know, we can’t always be having our best day. Sadly, life’s little pendulum of emotions has to keep swinging and can’t just hover over the manic joy area.

The answer, in the simplest terms is: it will cost more than you expected, it will take longer than you expected, you will hate the process, you will love the process; and hopefully, at the end of it, you get so much joy from the results that you’d say it was all worth it.
This is a good question. And only you can answer it for your situation.
So, go ahead and stop reading, because I have nothing to contribute.
JK. I have stupid amounts of things to contribute. All. The. Time. So, while this is totally your decision to make, here are some things to consider when you’re trying to decide if you need to hire a designer.
